Generally, the battery life will lasts for over 12 hours of continuous use. We recommend charging the battery no later than the day before a game or practice.
Yes. Even without the low air detection system, the Lawton Smart Helmet far exceeds current safety standards and regulations for football helmets. However, we do not recommend using a helmet with a dead battery because the low air detection system will not alert players or coaches if the airbladder losses air.
The helmet comes with a wireless charger that attaches to the back of the helmet. The charger attaches to any standard USB power converter.
The helmet turns on automatically when it is put on a player’s head. the helmet also automatically turn off automatically when it is not in use.
The electronics are more than tough enough to stand up to the roughest conditions. In fact, we guarantee that the electronics will not break. If they do, we will replace it for free.
